Global warming and climate change challenge the way we live and work. At the same time, they lead to serious consequences for human health; (e.g. coronavirus), biodiversity and ecosystems. Climate action is at the heart of the European Green Deal – an ambitious set of measures ranging from ambitious reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, to investment in cutting-edge research and innovation, to conservation ( EC 2019 28 members and 4 biannual reports based on non-EU countries, EU Green Deal 2020 report, Paris Agreement, Lisbon Contract 2017.). Nearly 60% of the world's population lives in urban areas. The world population is expected to reach 9.8 billion by 2050, as declared by the UN. Industrial agriculture produces enough food to feed the planet as a whole (2,790 kcal/person/day in 2006-08), but 32% of all food produced is wasted. The logistics of food production and transportation are largely responsible, although in developed countries a significant amount of food is wasted upon consumption. As a result, global food availability is lower than it would otherwise be, forcing the planet's agricultural system to produce more food to compensate for wasted food production. As a result, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations estimates that 795 million of the world's 7.3 billion people, or one in nine people, are chronically undernourished. In order to feed the population in 2050, we will have to produce 6,000,000 billion additional calories per year.

By cooperating, we will obtain a product that will improve the quality of education. This is to provide youth with entrepreneurial empowerment opportunities in vertical farming (indoor farming), which is a growing business sector, worth $3 billion globally ( 2019) and expected to reach $22 billion) thanks to high-quality production. quality learning resources and practical guidance and digital learning modules.

The ECHOING+ score aims to improve young people's hard and soft entrepreneurial skills in a more authentic environment where they can gain real experience in time management, professional communication and cooperation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills , and gain confidence while working towards a true goal.

The main objective of ECHOING+ is to educate young people, the public, youth workers and educators in the field of vertical farming in order to reduce air pollution, combat climate change and increase the employability skills of young people.
